The
NTD Annual / Monthly reporting seminars are designed to notify
transit agency employees of any changes that have taken place
in the NTD reporting process since the previous reporting
year. These seminars will provide an excellent opportunity
for you to meet FTA's NTD staff and to pose your reporting
questions in an interactive environment.
We
urge you and other members of your staff who participate in
preparing your agency's Annual / Monthly reports to attend
one of our seminars. We anticipate that it may not be possible
to accommodate everyone's request, given unavoidable limitations
on capacity. Therefore, we urge you to register as early as
possible to secure your space.

Please do not make any hotel or airline
reservations until you have received e-mail confirmation from
FTA that you have been scheduled for a specific workshop.
The seminars
are provided at no cost to the attendee, however, costs associated
with travel, meals, hotels, etc., are the responsibility of
the attendee. In general, hotels hold a number of rooms that
are available to government employees at the prevailing government
per diem rate. (Please check with the hotel for the current
government per diem rate for that location when making your
reservations.) When traveling on government per diem you will
be responsible for paying all applicable taxes levied on the
government per diem rate unless a tax exempt card is presented
upon check-in at the hotel. In addition, each hotel may require
either government identification, a government credit card,
or a government issued check upon check-in. When making your
reservations, please verify, in advance, with the hotel what
will be required from you when you check-in.
If,
due to demand, FTA cannot register you for the seminar you
have requested, you will receive notification informing you
that you have been placed on the Waiting List for that seminar.
If possible, you will be offered the opportunity to attend
a seminar in another location. Individuals on the Waiting
List will be contacted if cancellations result for the seminar
initially requested.
The course highlights specific terminology,
reporting requirements and guidance with an emphasis on assisting
agency personnel to develop a greater understanding of the
reporting process and compiling a NTD report. The agenda is
designed to encourage attendee participation, questions and
discussion.
NTD staff will be available to answer your questions
or review the information presented during the program. Where
possible, FTA representatives may also be available to participate
in these discussions. Additionally, attendees are encouraged
to come prepared to sit with an analyst and review their agency's
current report and clarify any outstanding issues, etc. You
are also encouraged to request a meeting with any member(s)
of the FTA Team. Please indicate on your registration 1) if
you would like to schedule a meeting, and 2) which day of
the seminar would be most desirable for your meeting.
During
meetings with the analysts, staff will be utilizing the Internet
Reporting software to access your agency's current report.
Should you you have questions regarding the software the analyst
will be able to walk you through the process.
